Happy Friday peeps โบ๏ธ๐๐
I baked a batch of orange waffles to celebrate the fact it’s almost weekend ๐ My kids love them and so do I.
This recipe is easy, vegan and never fails. I’ll leave it below so you can give it a try.
Sending hugs!

Orange waffles (makes 4-6 waffles, depending on size)
๐ธ1 cup (115-120g) all-purpose flour (light spelt flour will work too)
๐ธ1/2 tsp baking powder
๐ธ1/2 tsp baking soda
๐ธpinch of sea salt
๐ธ2 tbsp coconut sugar
๐ธ1/2 cup (120ml) almond milk
๐ธ1/3 cup (80ml) orange juice
๐ธ1 tbsp olive oil + more to grease the waffle iron
Mix dry ingredients in a mixing bowl, then add wet ingredients and mix to combine. Bake waffles in a hot waffle iron greased with a bit of oil. Don’t pour too much batter as the waffles need space to rise. Baking time will depend on the temperature of your waffle iron, for me it was 4-5 minutes.
