Happy Sunday lovely people! ☀️
Hope you are having a nice weekend. I had to do some cleaning today and that’s the reason I’m sharing the picture of my breakfast in the afternoon 😄
But I still wanted to share it – it was the first time I tried making vanilla custard porridge and I loved it, I’m definitely going to experiment more with this recipe in the future! It’s really creamy and delicious 😋

Vanilla custard porridge
🔸50g (about 1/2 cup) porridge oats
🔸1 tsp tapioca, arrowroot or corn starch (flour)
🔸240ml (1 cup) unsweetened plant milk
🔸120ml (1/2 cup) water
🔸1 tsp natural vanilla extract
🔸1 tbsp maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)
Add all ingredients to a saucepan and simmer until thick and creamy (it should take about 6-8 minutes). Serve with fresh fruits of choice, chocolate, nut butter and (optionally) a drizzle of syrup.
