Today I’m coming to you with… another oatmeal recipe! 😄
I fell in love with this pear cardamom oatmeal, it’s such a lovely seasonal flavour 🍐🍂
And don’t get me wrong looking at the picture – you don’t have to eat it out of a jar, in fact I usually have it in a bowl with a lot of almond butter drizzled all over it. But because it’s weekend and I had more time, I decided to go for this fancy presentation 😉 Hope you like it!

Pear cardamom oatmeal:
▪️1/2 cup oats
▪️half of a ripe, sweet pear, peeled, cored and chopped into small cubes
▪️1 tbsp chia seeds
▪️ pinch of sea salt
▪️1/4 tsp of cardamom
▪️1/2 tsp of cinnamon
▪️1 cup of water
▪️ 1/2 cup of almond or oat milk
Add cubed pear, oats, chia seeds, salt, cardamom, cinnamon and water to a saucepan. Mix well and bring to a simmer. Cook over low heat until almost all water is absorbed. At this point add almond or oat milk and let simmer for another 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently. Serve warm with almond butter, fresh fruits and coconut chips. Add a drizzle of natural maple syrup or honey if you prefer sweeter oatmeal.
